Subject: Gnus unplugged is, uh, plugged?
Date: 02 Mar 2001 08:33:59 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <873dcwi9bs.fsf@nwalsh.com> (raw)
This has bothered me for a while. Must be me. Running Gnus 5.8.8, with
(gnus-agentize) in my .gnus file, if I run 'gnus-unplugged' it still
tries to connect to external servers.
As long as I only have one external server, this is sortof ok since it
times out and then finishes. But if I have two or more servers, the
second one hangs forever and C-g aborts the whole startup process.
Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Be seeing you,
norm
