Ah, OK.
@Lars: It would still be nice to somehow have access to the full CVS
repository, maybe via rsync or simply the current status as a tar file,
since conversion from a remote pserver is dead slow and would produce
quite some traffic, especially for a project with such a long history as
Gnus.

I'd say it's the only viable solution at the moment.
