Subject: just say "MIME" in the menus perhaps
Date: Fri, 05 Jun 2009 10:47:03 +0800	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <8763fbxuqg.fsf@jidanni.org> (raw)

I just sent this to bug-gnu-emacs:
====
Gentlemen, using these Xresorces,
Emacs*Background: DarkSlateGray
Emacs*Foreground: Wheat
Emacs*bitmapIcon: on
Emacs.fullscreen: fullwidth
Emacs.geometry: 80x43+-6+-6
Emacs.toolBar:  0
with emacs -Q, observe the line at the top of the screen,
"File Edit Options", etc. OK, but what if one of those words has a blank
in it, like "MIME Part"? Well, you'll see it is very hard for he user to
tell that there is only one menu, not two for that string. Therefore you
need to put more visible vertical | separators | there.
emacs-version "22.3.1"
=====
And perhaps one word, MIME, would be good enough.
