Well I did some more testing, save the function
gnus-dired-attach, the setting
(mml-content-disposition-alist '((text
(rtf . "attachment")
(t . "inline"))
(image
(png . "inline")))
)
Uses inline for png attachments, for example in the
org-mime-htmlize function I mentioned.
