Hi,

I recently started playing with nnir: very nice search facility!

I have one feature request and one question:

1. would it be possible to have the query restrictions (Subject, Whole
message, ...) be in lower case? I find it annoying to have to type
upper case letter (followed by TAB say) to select where to search.
Or is there a better way to select these? I do use ido-everywhere
but if I type 's', I get "Whole message"...
2. Can one search an imap group that is agentised while unplugged? When
I tried, nnir ignored the plugged status and tried to connect to my
   imap server.

Thanks,
eric

I'd second that. And the key Imap is strange anyhow...

Nope, imap searching is a pure server-side business.

Oh, I have another feature request. I really like the plain-IMAP search
command feature, but it's not very easy to remember the correct format,
and the search commands are a littlebit long to type over and over. So
it would be really, really cool if I could specify some commom search
strings with placeholders for things I'd like to type in (format strings
would be the way to go, IMO).

Then I could have a set frequently occuring searches, like "mails from
%u within the last %n weeks"...

Bye,
Tassilo

I see no reason not to make them lower case. I can push this change.

    Eric> Thanks!

And is now pushed.

Thanks,
