I searched for "fancy" and found a lot of uses of the fancy splitting, plus did you know that "infancy" is the only non-splitting related work in the manual that contains "fancy"? I don't think we have an example with the necessary wrappers to make fancy splitting work (meaning, a function that let-binds the nnmail-split-fancy variable and then runs the nnmail-split-fancy function). IMHO that function is very tricky for ELisp beginners because almost all other programming languages don't allow a function and a variable bound to the same symbol. For nnimap that custom function is a likely need because nnmail-split-methods are not going to be the same as nnimap-split-methods. Thanks Ted
