I'm trying to track down the cause of this error message (what's being
sent and was results are received) so perhaps I can let AOL know:
nnimap: Updating info for nnimap+aol:INBOX...
Missing SEARCH response to a SEARCH command (server not RFC compliant)... [2 times]

If you setq `imap-log' to a non-nil value the communication with the
imap server is captured in the buffer *imap-log*.

Turn on nnimap-debug, imap-log, and imap-debug. What's in the logs?
You may have to edit out the password if it's in the clear.
It's entirely possible the AOL IMAP server is simply not RFC compliant.
I don't know of anyone else using it; if the fix is simple we can
consider it but you may want to synchronize to a local IMAP server
instead.
