i seem to be gettin' this error (all the sudden) when viewing messages
that aren't straight text.  thoughts?

i'm using gnus version: "Pterodactyl Gnus v0.96" and emacs version:
"GNU Emacs 20.3.2 (i386-debian-linux-gnu, X toolkit)."
