Subject: X-sent vs. Date vs. me vs. you
Date: Mon, 31 Jan 2011 16:18:03 +0800	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <878vy1pjus.fsf@jidanni.org> (raw)

You guys keep on changing things.

This is what I now see.

Date: Sat, 29 Jan 2011 11:28:34 -0600 (1 day, 14 hours, 44 minutes ago)
X-Sent: 1 day, 14 hours, 44 minutes, 50 seconds ago

This is what I want

Date: Sat, 29 Jan 2011 11:28:34 -0600 (1 day, 14 hours, 44 minutes ago)

These are my http://jidanni.org/comp/configuration/ files.

$ apt-show-versions emacs-snapshot
emacs-snapshot/unstable uptodate 1:20110128-1

  gnus-article-date-lapsed-new-header is a variable defined in `gnus-art.el'.
  Its value is t
  Original value was nil

  Documentation:
Whether the X-Sent and Date headers can coexist.
When using `gnus-treat-date-lapsed', the "X-Sent:" header will
either replace the old "Date:" header (if this variable is nil), or
  be added below it (otherwise).

Obviously both choices are not what I want.
