Subject: gravatars recently quit working for me...
Date: Fri, 17 Dec 2010 11:30:52 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <878vzoqs3n.fsf@gmail.com> (raw)
... after recent update, I don't see them anymore.
I think the only way I turned them on was this code in .emacs
,----
| ;; gravatar
|
| (setq gnus-treat-from-gravatar 'head)
| (setq gnus-treat-mail-gravatar 'head)
`----
I had a machine with a couple-week-old gnus where I saw gravatars. I
just did a "git pull" and I no longer see them.
I note that when I customize-group gnus-gravatar, and look e.g. at
"gnus-gravatar-properties", I see
,----
| Hide gnus-gravatar-properties: '(:ascent center :relief 1)
| State : STANDARD. (mismatch)
| List of image properties applied to Gravatar images.
`----
I'm not sure what is up with the "mismatch" (which I also see for
gnus-gravatar-size).
