Subject: No Gnus v0.11 (bug?) Drafts not on imap, yet Imap server thinks there is a Drafts folder
Date: Mon, 01 Nov 2010 15:29:21 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <878w1d6rsu.fsf@hillenius.net> (raw)
This one is prolly me not having read and/or fully understood the
documentation on this..
I was about to search through all my email, using not Gnus, but the
Squirrelmail search thingie. I selected "[All folders]", hit enter, and
then got this error:
,----
| ERROR: Could not complete request. Query: SELECT
| "INBOX.Drafts" Reason Given: System I/O error
`----
Hm. Well, there is no Inbox.Draft. When I 'C-x s' these draft-emails are
saved in ~/news/drafts/drafts and not on the Imap server. I have not
ever touched this in .gnus, so this is just the way it was meant to be,
or?
Oddly, the imap log shows that gnus at start examines this folder..
09:55:06 2746 EXAMINE "INBOX.Drafts"
I bet if I create the folder, search will work, but..
