Message-ID: <878yj9isxk.fsf@rikers.itso.iu.edu> (raw)
Greetings. It seems that mml-secure-message-encrypt-pgp (at least
when used with PGG and GnuPG) inserts extra characters before
encrypting the message. It looks like the message is being
MIME-encoded before the signature step. Since I'm just inserting the
PGP block inline, there should be no reason to MIME-encode it,
especially before encrypting.
See below for an example. A colleague decrypted this message but was
unable to verify the signature because of the extra characters.
Is there a way to skip the encoding step when encrypting messages
inline?
