I apologize to the list for the waste of bandwidth.  It was an
expiry-related misconfiguration on my part.

It seemed that the only common property that the dissappeared messages
shared was that I forwarded them; I was wrong.  It took me an hour to
pin-point my mistake...  Grrr...
