Subject: Reconnection weirdness after network problem
Date: 20 Jun 2000 15:50:04 +0300 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <878zw05xfn.fsf@senstation.vvf.fi> (raw)
Greetings,
Gnus 5.8.5. While I was writing a news article, network went down.
I tried sending several times, always getting a message that
connection could not be opened. When the network finally came up
and I hit C-c C-c, Gnus said "Denied server". It seems it couldn't
establish connection to the server because `g' in group buffer
didn't do anything (not even that typical small delay if there are
no new news). It somehow managed to send the article, though.
After I restarted Gnus, everything worked just fine.
Here are the messages from those attempts:
"""

What could cause this?
