The manual says about the messages saved as drafts:

|    When you want to continue editing the article, you simply enter the
| draft group and push `D e' (`gnus-draft-edit-message') to do that.  You
| will be placed in a buffer where you left off.

However, when I enter my drafts group, the key bindings are no
different from other groups. For example, "D" is bound to mark-
messages-as-read-backwards (or however this function is
called). gnus-draft-edit-message is not bound to any key at all.

Is something broken on my side, or is the manual not up to date?

pgnus 0.97, xemacs 21.1.7.

Check the group parameters for the drafts group:

((gnus-dummy
  (gnus-draft-mode)))

(I think if you delete the drafts group and Gnus automatically
re-creates it for you, this stuff will get properly initialised -
but I haven't tried it myself)
