I'm sorry this is taking me so long! I tested as best I could without
actual access to your computer, and it doesn't look like those
particular search results should give you any errors. One difficulty is
that the nnselect backend currently converts errors raised in the search
process into messages. If you're still on board here, would you please
set `gnus-verbose' to 10, run `toggle-debug-on-error', eval the
function below, and then try the search again?
It would be great to see the traceback, and also anything
suspicious-looking in *Messages*.
