Could be.  I copied this from somewhere and it works so haven't
investigated further! ;-)

Strange.  Typing C-u C-x = on the character tells me (elided):

            character: 🥲 (displayed as 🥲) (codepoint 129394, #o374562, #x1f972)
              charset: unicode (Unicode (ISO10646))
code point in charset: 0x1F972
              display: by this font (glyph code)
    ftcrhb:-GOOG-Noto Color Emoji-normal-normal-normal-*-26-*-*-*-m-0-iso10646-1 (#x498)
