Hi, I've started using Gnus recently. As I use emacs for 85% of my work,
I have strong tastes on how buffers ought to be arranged. Gnus also has
strong tastes, and over-rides mine. In particular, I would like to stop
Gnus from deleting other windows and just generally running amok with my
window configuration.

If this is not the correct list to ask this question, please point me to
the right one.

I am using Gnus from the git repo.

Leo

Consider using elscreen. I have gnus on its own "tab".

Richard, thanks. As I run emacs inside screen, I was dreading another
layer of tabs, but so far elscreen appears to work and is not too
intrusive. Leo
