For some reason I deleted the ~/News and ~/Mails directories. After that, when I start gnus again, it complains in *Message* that ------------- gnus-cache-update-file-total-fetched-for: Opening directory: no such file or directory, /home/zwz/News/cache/nntp+news.gmane.org:gwene.org.emacsen.planet ... ------------- It complains for each group, and it stops fetching news each time, which is very annoying. Is it possible to config gnus to create the directory when necessary? I am using the gnus coming along with Emacs 24.3.
