Platform: Intel PII, debian testing/unstable (sarge) XEmacs 21.4 (patch 6) "Common Lisp" [Lucid] (i386-debian-linux, Mule) of Sat Apr 6 2002 on eeyore Gnus v5.10.2 (CVS checkout from Sep 17, 2003, 20:32 MET DST) I did a CVS update today, and it fails during startup. I get the following message in the minibuffer: Symbol's function definition is void ((custom-set-default)) and then Gnus stops up. I get the same message during byte compilation (see the attached log), so I tried removing all .elc files. But the behaviour was the same, except I was told to byte compile Gnus during startup. Has anyone else seen this problem? Is there a workaround? Thanx! - Steinar
