First I've included the output of `G E' on my Sent group after starting
Gnus. Only the recent articles show up when entering the group.
Then I've included the output after hitting `M-g', so all articles are
visible. Note that once I've done `M-g', things are good until I exit
and restart Gnus.
If you ignore the order of the data, the only difference is that there
is no (active 67 . 3689) in the first output.
I'm running git from yesterday. If you think it would be helpful (and
safe) to redo this test after upgrading to current git, let me know.
