If I reply to a message and yank the text so that it gets cited, the
yanked text is not wrapping to the specified margins. If I manually
auto-fill the paragraph, it wraps correctly. What do I need to specify
so that it wraps correctly when its yanked and cited?
TIA!

You can use `W w' or `W Q' before replying:
,----[ (info "(gnus)Article Washing") ]
| `W w'
| Do word wrap (`gnus-article-fill-cited-article').
|
| You can give the command a numerical prefix to specify the width
| to use when filling.
|
| `W Q'
| Fill long lines (`gnus-article-fill-long-lines').
`----
Bye, Reiner.
