Where are you typing your text for the email? It sounds like you are
typing it in before the "--text follows this line--" line in the Message
buffer. Anything before that line should be an email header,
i.e. something like Subject: or To:. Your email contents should come
after this line.

Eric, it looks like when you're following up messages on
info-gnus-english@gnu.org, your responses are going to ding@gnus.org.
So I don't think the original poster will be able to see your responses.

Indeed. Thanks for pointing this out. The problem is that I split all
gnus email into one group but then associate this group with
ding. Ummmm need to be more careful, I guess.
