Hello
I have generated a new 4096 keypair using gpg,
So gpg -list-secret-keys gives this
sec 1024R/93B61FDD 1998-09-17
uid Uwe Brauer <oub@mat.ucm.es>
uid Uwe Brauer <oub@btmpx1.mat.uni-bayreuth.de>
uid Uwe Brauer <oub.oub.oub@gmail.com>
uid Uwe Brauer <oub.oub.oub@gmail.com>
sec 4096R/65AD077A 2014-01-28
uid Uwe Brauer (Second Key) <oub@mat.ucm.es>
ssb 4096R/F7D25222 2014-01-28
I have also set:
(setq epg-gpg-home-directory "/home/oub/.gnupg")
(setq epg-user-id "65AD077A")
But whenever I want to sign a message, the old key is used. What is
wrong in my setting?
thanks
Uwe Brauer

Could it be that the variable you want to set is epg-key-id? The user
id should probably be your name + email or similar.

Thanks for pointing this variable out, but no it does not help.

Have a look at the function `mml2015-epg-sign'. It seems like it will
query you for the key to use with `epa-select-key' if there are many
unless one is marked as default. Or maybe the signer-names don't match
your new key...
Bye,
Tassilo
