I use Ma Gnus v0.4 (well, that says gnus-version command) :-), I haven't
done anything special, I just clone the master branch after 2012-02-15.

Did you do a git pull on master branch recently?
It seems that Ma Gnus v0.4 has begun but it isn't tagged.
