I can't find it in the manual at all just now, though... Right... I didn't notice that the only search hit of `mail-user-agent' in the Gnus manual is in the history section (11.2.8.6 Oort Gnus). No occurrences in the Emacs elisp manual. There is one match in the Emacs manual, node "Mail Methods", but no method is explained there in any way. Michael.
