The impression I get is that it will read read as well as unread
messages--a bonus for me, since I have a laptop and would like to be
able to download all messages to my laptop when I'm away, but read
on-line when I'm local.
With the old behavior, if I forgot to plug, get news, and unplug, then
those messages I read would never be able to appear in my agent ever
again. Not a good thing, next time I'm halfway to work on the bus and
need to read such an old email.
I'm very glad to see this patch. :)
John.
