Subject: wrong number of messages listed (with fetchamil/procmail)
Date: Sun, 25 Sep 2005 16:11:35 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <87ll1kdf94.fsf@gmail.com> (raw)
Hi,
I've recently set fetchmail to retrieve mail from all my sources and
testing it from a console shows it's working fine. So I've done the
following in ~/.gnus.el:
(setq mail-sources '((file :path "/var/mail/username"
:prescript "fetchmail")))
but when mail is retrieved by Gnus with 'g', the number of new messages
listed next to the group is twice the actual number. Entering the mail
group then shows the actual messages and exiting correctly shows no new
messages. What might be going on here?
Thanks in advance,
