Gnus on macOS opens Apple Mail

Hi,

I am trying to use Gnus for reading emails. But when I was sending email
for the first time I selected "default client". So it opened up Apple
Mail on my system. But now I don't know where it saved this setting. It
is launching Apple Mail everytime I press C-c C-s to send email. How to
get rid of this behaviour.

I don't really know what governs this, but it sounds like the value was
saved as a customize option. Visit your init file, find the
(custom-set-variables ...) form, and see if there's anything in there
that looks likely. Please report back if you figure it out!
