No. I see 2 issues: the sorting of the sub-threads in a gathered thread, and the sorting of the gathered threads themselves. Both seem wrong to me. It would be nice, if the gathered threads behaved the same as normal threads. The sorting I'm looking for: (setq gnus-thread-sort-functions '((not gnus-thread-sort-by-most-recent-date))) -- Peter
