Hello Eric, Now I use Emacs from git-master. Still the same problem. Here some details for the group "c=C3=A9line": =2D There is this line in ~/Mail/active: "c=C3=A9line 153 1 y" =2D Then I reply to a message in this group with "Gcc: c=C3=A9line" =2D This appears in the *Messages*: Sending... Sending via mail... Wrote /home/peter/Mail/c\303\251line/154 (2 non-printable characters) Sending...done =2D When entering the group "c=C3=A9line", the new message is hidden. =2D There are now 2 lines in the active file: c=C3=A9line 154 1 y c=C3=A9line 153 1 y I guess, that this should be reproducible with any nnml group with accented characters in the group name. TIA for any help, =2D-=20 Peter --=-=-= Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iGoEARECACoWIQS/5hHRBUjla4uZVXU6jitvQ7HLaAUCYUECEAwccG1AYTE2bi5u ZXQACgkQOo4rb0Oxy2g/pACg0/cROwOFN0Ed6Ncbqa5RdCS8gBcAnA04onVg/MjM 6u6TGaMKKc5NEzTN =4HgO -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-=-=--
