Hi

I realized that my draft group is polluted by message I most likely will
never finish. However I hesitate to delete them. Is there any convenient
way to back them up, so that they are still easily accessible via gnus?

Regards

Yes, if you were only to do ... nothing.

But yes, you can create a new group and move them there, if
that's what you mean?

Right, I moved them to a nnml group, trivial, sorry for the noise.

On the contrary,

  We don't believe in silence.
We believe in making a big noise.

A slogan from what company?

(A good question, as googling it - even including the correct
answer - don't come up with anything.)

Right, that I did (googling), of course, but when I realized the answer, I felt a
bit well stupid.
