Yes and no. The command always prints something like
Checking new news...done
nnimap: Setting marks in IMAP/ding...
nnimap: Setting marks in IMAP/ding...done
Finished fetching articles into the Gnus agent
But I've never seen it writing lines about getting flags from server.
