No, you're not missing anything.  I am generally one to first inspect the
`gnus-msg-mail` code before planning an attack, but I don't think I would have
associated a term as seemingly cosmetic as "posting style" with changing
fundamental mail headers. Such is the curse and blessing of cannibalizing
usenet nomenclature for mail.

My only consolation for reinventing the wheel is I save typing "C-u" when I "m".
