They have an overlapping, but not identical, selection of NNTP servers, the same single IMAP server, and selection of groups over the servers. For the last couple of months I've been using Ted's gnus-sync.el to synch the read marks for the NNTP groups. But for the nnimap groups I would like the server to be the master.
