I would be grateful for any advice about how to solve this problem.[1] It is making it very unpleasant to use Gnus to read certain newsgroups. Steve Berman Footnotes: [1] I know I can comment out all my Gnus setting and try them one at a time, but given that I only see the problem when I restart Emacs, that would be very time-consuming. I hope there's some other way of looking for the cause.
