Unfortunately though, the messages are actually not even retrieved from my pop server. I'm wondering though how the back end knows where to put the new mail? I've set everything up as explained in the manual; I basically copied my maildirs (each containing the "curr" "new" "tmp" folders), but where is the back end supposed to put the new mail? I haven't setup any mail splitting scheme yet, so perhaps that has something to do with it?
