In most cases, they refuse so hard that not only do I have to restart Gnus, I have to restart all of Emacs. I used to think it was my imagination, but it's happened too many times by now. Has anyone else seen this? What could be lingering in an Emacs session that would permanently prevent reconnection? Eric
