I have tried this. Still get no results. However, it seems like the results must be found as the amount of time Emacs sits after requesting the query seems to be a function of the number of emails I would expect notmuch to return. That is, there is a very quick response when only a handful of emails would match the query but seconds when hundreds or thousands would. This would suggest that the query is being performed but the subsequent processing is going wrong somewhere. How can I debug what the search is doing?
