Absolutely! That's at the heart of how the whole thing works. On the
Gnus side, the registry makes sure we can always find a message, even if
it's been moved. On the Org side, the org-id mechanism does the same
thing: makes sure we can always locate a heading by its id, even if it's
been refiled. I think it would be pretty hard to break the association.
