I'm sorry. I just tried to recreate the problem with logging active
but unfortunately I failed. I can't get the problem now after
following my own recipe.

I have been working without the agent for a while so for creating the
requested logs I turned on the agent again, turned on imap logging and
tried to follow my own instructions. No articles were lost
though. Sigh.

So I guess this item is closed until someone comes back with logs that
can explain what happens.
