I started > using the agent on nnimap in mid-March (on March 19 to be exact), > and have seen it twice since then. I saw this happen on the same nnimap group twice. This group had a lot of _old_ (as in early 2002) ticked articles, and a lot of read articles between the ticked articles. After the second loss of tickmarks, I walked through all the old articles, and ticked the ones I wanted, and then moved all the ticked articles to an archive group. So if the ticking pattern was the problem, I won't see it again.
