I've just installed bitmap-mule and xfonts-bitmap-mule;  now I get
empty boxes appearing where the x-face should appear.  Any ideas
what I need to fix?  (Emacs 20.7, Debian unstable.)

I have the uncompface and icontopbm programs installed.
