I find that using nnir to search gmane no longer produces any results.
For instance, if I type GG on gmane.emacs.gnus.general and then type
"nnir" RET, I receive the following message:
,----
| Couldn't request group nnir:nnir-87lhsmghcc.fsf: Search produced empty
| results.
`----
Digging into nnir-run-gmane I find that it attempts to access the
following url:
http://search.gmane.org/nov.php?query=nnir+group%3Agmane.emacs.gnus.general+&HITSPERPAGE=999
If I attempt to access that url in a browser, I get the following
message:
"No CGI parameters specified"
Thanks,
Matt

I also come into the same problem, gnus-group-make-nnir-group always produces:
"Couldn't request group nnir:nnir-xxxxxxx.fsf: Search produced empty results."
By the way I set nnir-method-default ((nnimap . notmuch)
(nntp . gmane)), and imap works.
does anyone has any idea how to solve this problem?
Thanks in advanced!

Try asking about it 5 times in a row.
