Subject: gnus-junk.el - a response to junk e-mails
Date: Fri, 27 Dec 1996 18:10:36 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <9612271710.AA19168@stud2.tuwien.ac.at> (raw)
Hi,
I grew so very tired of commercial e-mails, that - before completely
dozing off - I actually wrote an extension for Gnus that makes
replying to this kind of junk semi-automatic.
It can be tailored to your personal style (who to complain to, what to
put into the complain, etc.). The interface is simple: Call
`gnus-junk-complain' in with the offending message selected, review
the reply that gnus-junk built (perhaps making changes to it), and
send it.
If you are interested, the code is availiable at
<http://stud2.tuwien.ac.at/~e9426626/gnus-junk.el> - if you have
problems with that, I'll mail it upon request.
Please test the code and send me your comments/bug-reports! It has
been tested with Red 0.76 & XEmacs 19.14.
