Well, since there is only one ding newsgroup, I guess the gateway could bounce to the sender as if it were the mailinglist. So if the mailinglist would take the envelope `From ' address and insert in an X-Enveolope-From: header or something, you could bounce to that address. Otherwise I guess you'd have to take the address from Reply-To:, From:, Mail-Copies-To: or whatever it's called, like normal mail clients. And probably don't bounce if the resulting address contains the text 'ding'. > The bounces I see come from the mail gateway refusing messages. > I don't get a lot of bounces, though, so it may not explain every > message that's not making it. Indeed. You could check what happened to your or my previous message about the subject, or this one unless it for some reason does reach the newsgroup:-) > Upon closer inspection, this may actually point to a Gnus bug somewhere. > Here's a relevant excerpt; note the duplicated Content-Type: header: Or in the ding mailinglist. Maybe it inserts MIME headers if it thinks there are none. Compare a failed original message with the message as it looked in the ding mailinglist, i.e. this one if it too fails:-) -- Hallvard
