The above is not meant to make things work, just to provide more debugging information. Could you post the contents of those buffers? Also, if you look in the server buffer, is the nnimap server marked as `opened'? Evaluating the following M-: (setq imap-log "*imap-log*") RET and posting the contents of that buffer (after trying to enter the group) would also be useful.
