I got it today. Ok, I renamed the variable, tweaked the docstring, added a :type for defcustom, and committed it. Note that so far, it only takes effect for replies, not original message. Also, it overrides someone else's MFT, so be careful using it to remove people you think are subscribed to a list. paul
