Hi folks,

I was using ognus 005 for some while now and it was duck slow. Finally
I figured out what is causing this: After entering my inbox xemacs
uses 128MB memory! The same with current cvs. With ognus 004 its down
to 27MB again.

I am mainly using agentized nnimap in online mode.

Greetings
		Christoph

Maybe the Agent/Cache overview file is large? Look in
News/agent/nnimap/server/group/.overview if it contains duplicates.
It shouldn't.

Yes, both .agentview and .overview had loads of duplicates and were
very large. Altogether they had a size of > 100MB =:-0

Now I will try to find out why it happened...

The bug was fixed a few weeks ago. Update Gnus and remove those files.
