Hi

I am reading rss on www.ing.dk. For instance the list on:
http://debat.ing.dk/category/rss.php?name=miljo

However, gnus doesn't show the danish national characters
correctly. Can it be changed by me? what is the reason?

Here is an example:
Børge, 1: fordi der skal for meget energi til at producere
brændslet ? 2: for det drejer sig om at få fossilt
kulstof ud af kredsløbet.  Dit forslag genbruger det bare en
enkelt (dyr) gang inden det slipper ud. Det helt fundamentale
problem er at vi graver fossilt kulstof op og smider det ud i
atmosfæren som CO2, hvordan vi kommer fra A til B er i den
sammenhæng ligegyldig. Poul-Henning

It relies on a program you use for rendering html contents and
you seem to use the Lisp program `html2text'[1] which is plain
and simple. I can recommend using emacs-w3m[2] instead, though
it might not be very easy to install.

[1] The default value of the `mm-text-html-renderer' variable.
If you don't explicitly set the value, it is set to the one
    found first among w3 (Emacs/W3), w3m (emacs-w3m), links,
lynx and html2text in your system. Where links and lynx are
the external commands while the others are the Lisp programs.

[2] http://emacs-w3m.namazu.org/index-en.html
Note that you need to install the external command w3m in
addition to the emacs-w3m Lisp package.

Regards,

Yes, that is what the variable is set to.

I have tried to install it on my emacsw32, but I haven't been
successful.

I think I would prefer an extension to html2text.

Thanks for the advice.
